If you ever missed Joss Whedon's cult classic space western, now's a cheap time to fix that. Firefly: The Complete Series is currently going for $5 in Digital HDX on Fandango at Home, the platform formerly known as VUDU.
That gets you the full 2002 series run in HD for less than the price of a coffee. For a show that still has one of the most passionate fanbases in sci-fi, that's a steal.
One thing worth flagging: TV series purchases on Fandango at Home are not Movies Anywhere compatible. That means this stays locked to the Fandango at Home ecosystem. You won't be able to port it over to iTunes, Google Play, or other MA-linked platforms.
For most people that's not a dealbreaker, but if you're particular about keeping your digital library unified across services, it's worth knowing before you buy.
At $5 for a complete series, though, it's hard to complain. Firefly only ran for one season, so you're getting all 14 episodes in one shot. If you've never watched it, this is basically the lowest friction entry point you'll find.
